In some threads I read that with the ORBX media player we can easily put an animation (as mp4) over a static cubemap by creating a file layout file that looks about like this:
background.png (the complete background cubemap)
mycontent_LR.mp4 (the animated part)
mycontent_LR.json (the metatdata ...

To my excuse: on my screen-setup the "Export alembic" string was shortned to "Export ..."

You may excuse my lack of knowledge, but how exactly do you guys export from Blender to Alembic?
My search for Alembic exporters ended in 3 year old test builds (2.60) on graphicall or some other, rather old mentions to possibly use it as point cache in the future.

Hi there,
with a specific scene I got a lot of (reproducable) crashes recently. They happened when I did simple things like assigning another material or moving (grab) something, etc.
Opening the very same scene with a vanilla blender 2.70a I could do some of those things without problems. But now ...
