Im trying to make tiled infinite landscapes with mirrors. On landscape material i used dirt shader for 'snow' effect.
When i placed planes with mirror material (index 1), i got this weird lines. This lines produced by dirt shader.

Re: Request: Alembic Particles Support
Ah yes it crashes for me when i tried to import Points 'As Particle Geometry'. Idk why
But then i trying 'As Polygon Object' its fine.
Now i will try simulate some particles in Houdini
UPD: it works for me with Houdini alembic. Try this file.

Re: Request: Alembic Particles Support
As fulltime developer that's hard to learn another softwares. So it would be great to see a few sample scenes for your usage.
I have attached .abc file with particles simulated in Realflow 10.
Just import them in c4d using that settings:

Request: Alembic Particles Support
You guys know that Cinema4D natively don't have so good features to simulate particles. So people using other softwares like Houdini, realflow, etc just for simulating particles and bring them back into Cinema4D through Alembic. Ok i know. But i happen on me with TFD. Pls try without TFD and give me more info.
Tried without TFD - problem is still here.

Alembic Particle Geo and Octane.
So i got a grain simulation from Houdini in Alembic format.
Imported Alembic in C4D, selected "Points - As Particle Geometry" in Alembic Import Settings.
And then, when i selected Particle Geometry and applyed ObjectTag, there is no particle related tab inside object tag, so i cant render that ...
