My big problem with FBX is it a very finicky format. We have had endless trouble with it over the years, and we normally have to stick to particular versions in projects depending on whether they are animation heavy and which program they get exported out of.

I seem to recall hearing that you would be allowed to import FBX into V3. Is that still on the cards ?
Any possibility of using Pixar USD? Alembic while great for many things struggles in a teaching enviroment when it comes to assigning materials.

We are working on new options as we get closer to launching V3, including inexpensive secondary floating licences.
Also, if streaming matters, would a system like the one we use on this website to live stream V3 demo be of use it it were built into Octane itself? It would perform better than TV ...

Using Octance 2.32.2 and I am getting an error when using this script .
[String "Material assignment graph.lua"]:26: attempt to call field 'getRootGraph' (a nil value)
Is there an update in the script needed or did I just not use it correctly?

As per my email. I took everything back via the original import process and the UV's are now visible in both Mac and PC version, Obviously something I did along the way the first time caused the issue.

I thought I was. However I was pushing it to 100. Was looking for Shutter interval variable. Didnt realise they were the same thing
