an easy solution is to remove the displacement node completely.
3feet's procedural material uses the torso maps of your model and chances are it doesnt have a displacement map.
details are present in the normal & bump maps.
and unless you are rendering a close up, there wont be much of a ...

Re: Making fog
still fiddling with the fog.
question about mesh lights in general and with volumetric fog:
i'm using primitive planes with only 1 division (and of 1 meter side).
How does the number of divisions affect the texture emission ?
Should i have more divisions ? And/or a bigger primitve ?

Re: Making fog
happy new year !
i'm still struggling with environmental volumetric fog.
here is a scene (rendered at 6000 samples): as you can see, the fog is very grainy.
here are the environment settings: and the general settings how do i get a better looking fog ?

Re: OctaneRender 4 for DAZ Studio [TEST and STABLE]
hi !
updated to 4.0041 (from an old 3.something)
even with the simple cube the renderer seems stuck at building geometry - or displaying *rendering* string but the yellow bar ping pong-ing left and right with no other result.
i've erased the previous octane settings..
using daz 4.10.0.123

can't sign-in
my connection times out when trying to reach (https://account.otoy.com/oauth/authorize?client_id= *****etc... )
which prevents me to sign-in on the site & the plug-in to activate.
is there something wrong on my end ?

Re: OctaneRender 3 for DAZ Studio [TEST and STABLE]
updated to the latest version, no problem so far. (apart from the subset's objects facing - that a scene rebuild fixes).
