Re: Raised edges for geo-grafted prop

Just try again. Delete the prop and apply it again. I've had that happen once in a while with different Geo-grafts (including that one), it usually works fine the second time I try.

Re: Is this plugin going to survive the free iRay popularity?

What exactly is that going to mean for the average user's workflow? Will it enhance compatibility with Iray materials typically sold with DAZ projects?

Re: Daz 4.10 - Anything Game Changing for You?

Dumb question: Where do I find those nodes (bend stifness and so on)?
I can find very limited options in the Simulation pane and under Parameters for the clothing item.

Re: how is the material compatibility for daz octane?

Wow, yeah you are right. Now that I think about it, I haven't actually been rendering anything in the last year or so, just sitting around messing with materials. The idea was that you could use the material library for easy conversions, but the scale is always off in a bunch of parameters and ...

Re: Does render mesh resolution settings apply/work with octane?

Unfortunately it only works for iray. Octane uses the viewport subD :(

Re: Daz 4.10 - Anything Game Changing for You?

That was my initial thought as well, but after seeing other people posting about it, I tried it on an old item of clothing, and it worked perfectly fine.
i think that if it has the nForce tag, it's veryfied to work, and the parameters are tweaked to fit the product.

Re: Daz 4.10 - Anything Game Changing for You?

Yeah, the clothes simulation seems incredible. I've been trying to get that to work on Blender. It's slow, tedious and error-prone. In DAZ 4.10 it seems like magic. Even uses GPU acceleration, so it's very fast too. Seems to work with almost all clothing too.

Re: Save button becoming disabled during final render

Just chiming in to say that I've also experienced this with the current version. First and only time I used the Final button :D
But yeah, now that incremental saves works, it's not that big of a gamble.

Re: Environment List Problem

Thanks, I didn't know of those settings. That seems to work, both for rendersettings and environment. It of course also deletes any settings you'd want to keep.
A workaround could be to add the settings you want to keep from the crazy list to your presets, as these ARE loaded with the option ticked ...

Re: Environment List Problem

I'm having a similar issue with rendersettings, but also get a lot of the environment ones. Sometimes it seems like it's only tied to a specific file. When opening DAZ the lists look fine. When I then load a saved file, these crazy lists show up. Do you think the plugin may be saving duplicates ...
