Ok, so you are talking about disabling rendering in viewport, not a feature called "Real-time". This feature improves viewport latency, but rendering speed remains similar when it is on. I'm not sure why it is called "Real-time" which is quite misleading.

Well, after several tests, I found a way to prevent it from crashing, and to do that, I just have to disable real-time rendering while making changes to the shader.
It seems to have temporarily fixed the issue, but it's still not very practical. :cry:

Hi,
when I open older projects saved prior to Octane 2024/25 the diffuse BRDF model in materials is set to Octane instead of Lambertian. The difference is more visible with the higher roughness values.

It would be cool if "Get active tag/object" loaded material that is assigned to the selected object and if it loaded a material tag that is selected in object manager.

The Used/free/total vram show wrong naming and the total value is partially hidden displaying eg 23.9 instead of 23.980GB

I can't upload the scene where it crashed regularly.
It also happened in some simple scene too but I can't replicate it with other scenes that I could upload for a test.
