Magma Expansion...
Wow, I haven't been back here in a while, but Octane still looks like a great option. I remember when I suggested the Octane developers seek out a relationship with Magma for an alternate PCI expansion option to Cubix and was dismissed out of hand. With the demise of the X-Pander relationship I ...

Re: OBJ Export Settings for Octane
Definitely would love to see Octane support Catmull-Clark compliant SubDs for my tweaked Maya/modo models so I wouldn't have to freeze the things.

Support for Magama hardware for GPU-X?
I don't know much about Cubix, but I do know Magma (http://www.magma.com) has pretty much the same and more hardware options within the same categories. I know that Magma has been building expansion units for about a decade, maybe longer so their business and offerings are solid. While I know that ...

Re: mini iron man
Really beautiful render, was the worn away paint done with Alpha mapping revealing a brushed metal type material underneath or was it all one layer?

Re: WW2 airplane + Questions before purchase

Does that interfere at all with the whole "Unbiased" thing since they aren't real-world materials? Also has anyone ...

Re: Rendering Co-op group?
The renderfarm provider option sounds like a good one, especially for animation and especially this early in the development of the product. My main goal though is as much about community building as just about getting stuff rendered. I've found that usually the communities that have people that ...

MDD export to Octane?
MDD export seems to offer a lot of benefits for exporting animation, has been developed for quite some and there's an implementation for just about every app available. It would be nice to see this in Octane as an option.

Rendering Co-op group?
Looking at the fact that I probably won't be able to upgrade my hardware anytime soon and thinking that there might be some people that are in the same boat I was wondering if there are any Octane Render users that might be willing to help form a group that renders out still images of other people's ...
