Hi Fuzzybro,
Good to hear you're back. We at least have the moral back. Your call if in need of testers.

Re: OTOY pleas answer!!!!
To let you know the fact:
Last week I have a interior model prepared by my colleague and we need to prepare renders with half day timeframe.
I turned to use Shaderlight (lower quality) though I have a SU Octane license because I don't have time with Octane for material tweaking and double side ...

Re: OctaneRender for SketchUp is out
Hi fuzzybro,
I figured out the "missing geometry" issue.
I turned off layer 0 in the sample skp I sent you earlier.
SU treats geometries assigned with layer 0 to follow the visibility of their parent (group or component alike) in SU viewport.
Just layer 0 have this behaviour.

Re: OctaneRender for SketchUp is out
Hi fuzzybro,
1. maybe duplicate geometry "on the fly" and reclaim memory after loaded into GPU?
2. page transition - you replied it already
3. refer attachment
4. refer attachment
5. not "selection", sectioned model using the "section plane" tool in SU
6. IES light like those I found in 3dsmax ...

Re: OctaneRender for SketchUp is out
Hi OTOY,
Bought immediately and tried.
Major comment:
1. no double side material
2. no scene animation output
3. geometry conversion slow (>1min for 40M model)
4. some component/group only visible in octane viewport after exploded
5. section view not supported (for your info: Visualizer can ...

Re: OctaneRender for SketchUp beta testers wanted
I guess OTOY have a hard time dealing with double side materials, which is the basic structure of Sketchup, but fundamentally violate Octane's graphic engine.

Re: NEW : Preview of OctaneRender for Revit
Hi Paul,
After import/link Revit into Navisworks, in properties tab within the selection window (usually in the left pane), select by Revit Material -> Name -> [your own choice, multiple selection is possible]. You can then assign any Navisworks material into your selection.
Simple enough?

Re: Preview of OctaneRender for Revit
Hi Paul,
I agreed with u. And thanks for your advance brief on Octane Revit workflow.
Since 3dsmax already interop with Revit very well in v2013 (e.g. sort object with material ID, with fbx technology in background), that's why I stressed Adsk material interop with Octane in Revit is very ...
