I was wondering whether there Is a source available full of tutorials that will teach me how to use octane render's features and everything?
I'm using the demo and the only thing restricting me from buying the full version are insufficient tutorials .
I was wondering whether octane render supports the creasing value feature when exported as an obj file from xsi, also called hard edge or smooth groups.
The problem is that it isn't utilizing all its 384 cores if i'm right, Since 256 are being put to use. Therefore I believe that when the full potential is utilized we can expect a raw 3.2 mega-samples on path-tracing during the execution of the bench test.
I got my new pc running with a gtx 560 2GB, i've downloaded the demo and the benchmark. However, it states that the benchmark scene i downloaded seems to be invalid and not accepted by octane. what should i do? Specifically it states invalid scene file VERSION...
The best thing to do is to buy both and compare them because , I believe, no one here knows ;). Plus once you compared them could you post the results :P.. ?
Sorry just being cheeky lol, I personally went for the 560 TI because it is better for octane however worse for 3d aps such as 3ds max ...
