Re: How to bake objects with no-UVW projection?

Trying to explain myself better, here the result with a simple object (a plane and a cube), connected as one single object:

using "Cinema4d bake object"
bak c4d.jpg
using Octane Camera in baking mode:
bak oct.jpg

Re: How to bake objects with no-UVW projection?

Trying to investigate a little what I really need in Octane is that the Camera Baking would be able to work correctly with objects with different materials applied by Selection Tag (as the mentioned C4d command "bake object" does).

Re: How to bake objects with no-UVW projection?

Hi Beppe!
I know that the "law" is to have the right UVs on the object, but I think I'm not the only one having the problem of converting an huge quantity of custom models with different texture projections (that in 90% of cases is "cubic").
So I'm asking myself why in Cinema native the thing works ...

How to bake objects with multi materials and Tag selection?

Sorry for my basic question, but let me to understand if is possible, like in this example made in Cinema4d native ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TvZiDsODf8k ):
1) having an unique object (like a simple house) with 2 or 3 materials applied in cubic projection.
2) make a bake of the object using ...

Re: XParticles on 2020.2.5 - R3

No problem :D
Problably it is sufficient this post, so user knows that have to use 2020.2-R3 with old builds of XParticles

Have a nice day!

Re: XParticles on 2020.2.5 - R3

Hi Ahmet it's always a pleasure to hear you.
I know that you 're full of work and perhaps an old release is not your first target :D , but could you give it a look? I'm on 742 XParticles build and I'm pretty sure that works on 2020.2 and not on 2020.2.5 R3

Many thanks.

XParticles on 2020.2.5 - R3

I know I'm on old Octane version ( 2020.2.5 - R3) but I ask if is possible to allow (as in the 2020.2 R3) the use of XParticles with an old build also for the 2020.2.5 R3.
Infact after the .2 R3 release, Xparticles won't render assigning a geometry to Octane Tag.

Re: Is possible to miror a Camera?

The reason why I can't flip in photoshop is that I have a huge quantity of these images since I'm doing a configurator, but, I know it's an option to make a batch procedure.

Thanks, Korma for your help this seems the only option that I have since I don't know what could happen to my scene (and all ...

Re: Is possible to miror a Camera?

Thanks a lot for your reply, but I need that the camera stays in the same position and shot one image in the normal way and another with horizontal mirroring.
I know this is not related strictly with Octane but I think could be resolved with an OSL script, unless I forget some basic c4d command!
