I have just been informed by another user that this is a known issue and they are trying to fix it.

I had the same problem, with the same computer, I swapped over to the lower spec graphics card in the macbook pro and it worked!
Try that.

Installed cuda drivers and Tool kit and now I get - "could not find unusable cuda device, Exiting-"
