Hi Gabriel,
Yes indeed!
I bought CarbonScatter but it "felt" totally uncomfortable, and kept crashing constantly...
So I bought ForestPackPro, and it's just GREAT!
Next week I'm going to work on a project that includes a big car-park, and I'm definitely going to create a distribution map for the ...

Re: TIP : High framerate even with lots of polygons
No I didn't have the opportunity to try Max2014
thanks for the info
I also discovered that hiding your entire scene also works great, still as long as you don't tick "moveable proxy" - quite useful if you have a heavy scene and want to tune your camera angle comfortably.

But I'm glad to be back, especially now that I've upgraded to v2 !!! :)

Re: Isometric 3D software ???
Hi Roubal,
Many thanks for your reply.
I don't use Blender anymore - I now use 3DSMax.
Anyway don't bother looking for your files, Sketchup is fine for that kind of job.
That was really kind of you.
Many thanks again, read you soon !

Hi everyone !
I've been really busy lately, so I haven't posted anything in a while :(
I missed posting stuff and getting feedback from you guys! :D
I've only been working on "job-related" pics those last 3 months, and I have to admit that it's been quite frustrating at some point...

Re: Isometric 3D software ???
Hi Roeland,
Yep indeed it's pixel-art but without the pixels
Since I've never had to do pixel-art I only know a few "tricks" to it, but I'm no expert at all
Thanks for the tip about "1 pixel up / 2 pixels sideways", that's a great thing to know!
Cheers,

Re: Isometric 3D software ???
Hi Andrea, thank you for your reply.
I couldn't find any software that enables you to do isometric cities very fast, as the client told me. (I think it was a trick to lower the quote more than anything else  )
I use Sketchup on a daily basis, and indeed I think I'll use it for this project ...

Isometric 3D software ???
Hi everyone :)
I've just been asked to produce a picture of a city in Isometric 3D that would look like Areva's commercials ( click here for an example )
Apparently he knows there's a 3D software that would enable me to do this quickly but he couldn't remember the name.
He told me that this ...
