Guys, almost 3 years I was waiting support of geometry attributes in shader level which is most useful thing in houdini when creating a motion design or infographics.
This 3 years I was using another render. But decided to check, what changed here.

Any news about OSL, point\curves rendering in coming release?
If to be honest, Octane in Houdini looks like alpha version with minimum functionality right now. Only for simple tests.
Besides, with longest development cycles.

Thank you for feedback.
I agree, in internet you can find a lot of tutorials, but I don't see any production ready-tools for doing the same.
You need to spend a time for repeat tutor and it is not so simple as many would like.
I think I will make this tool free soon.

My mistake - I just used wrong expression. $F and should $F4.
Now its working ok.
About node - could you write about promotion a little bit more?
Maybe I just don't understand how to do this.

NT_TEX_IMAGE needs string path parameter to texture!
Hello.
It is so sad that impossible to make parameter for texture file path from Texture image RGB node.
More over, I cant use $F expression inside octane shading network
so animated textures is impossible to use in houdini with octane at all.
Please fix it
