did a comparisontest with maxwell :
Must say, i'm quite impressed at this resolution, however for final rendering which was about 9000x9000 pixels
Maxwell won for final output. The endvisual wich contained some millions of polys watersplashes in the form of a hand
couldnt be rendered with octane due ...

tnx for the roundup :)

Since Octane isnt an animation package, I wasnt really referring to 25fps animation,
realtime/delayed more like in 1-4 seconds.

That should allready put the pricetage a bit lower no ? :)

It might be worthed trying with a small tesla farm once the multiGPU is stable imho.
I'm just curious about how many you'll need to get it rendering at delayed realtime if possible at all.

Testing the build, I'm getting a crash when trying to change the materials.
Scene is 1.5 million scene with multiple liquids on 2x quadrofx 3800.

Scene loads fine, I can navigate it untill I try to change the material.
