beta 0.69a rendered a 90 frame 1080p animation to completion without halting so that is good.
I do however still get crashes of Cinema 4D from time to time. Not while rendering though.

I will be testing this new beta 0.69a to see if my stability issues continue.
In the mean time, and I know this is a depressing question in the dedicated plug-in forum, sorry, could someone more experienced than me tell me if using the Standalone Octane 1.20 is a viable option for rendering ...

Ok, so now my animation with the picture manager stuck on frame 66 (0.6.7c), gpus are unloaded and nothing happens, staying there till 22 Minutes now. No Crash, but Render Hang Up... I can close the picture Manager and start again or resume... but loose a lot of time, if I don`t babysitt my render ...

Well, with 8 GPUs you can afford to turn one off for rendering
I am not so Lucky....
I will try turning one GPU off rendering with 0.6.7c and see how it goes.
I am on the newest Nvidia driver by the way.

Beta 0.6.7c does NOT crash Cinema 4D on startup.
However, the problem with halting during render of animations remains.
at this frame can be zero polygon count?
The frame that halts is not the same for each time I try on the same animation. And there should not be any difference in polygon count ...
