I deleted the file, but no changes...
Also tried:
removed all other plugins
removed older Standaloneversions of octane
removed Bonjour Service (what caused some problems with Win7 but is needed for HDR Lightstudio)
I cant remember any minor Win7 Systemtweaks the last weeks or some that could make ...

Inspector from Node Editor disappeared
Hello,
for some reason? the Inspector (for the Node/ Material settings) and also the Move/ Scale controlls disappeared...
I recently switched from 2.xx to 3.06.2 and had the Inspector for a short time. A few C4D starts later, its gone.
C4D Version is R13 on Win7.

You can give displacement a try. Scattering grass is only needed for Closeups or near distance views, but not really for far distance views.
Just make yourself a grassmap thats tileable, create a greyscalemap from it and put it into the displacechannel and do some testing.
