can you post how you've solved this. The octane installer doesn't even write anything for me..

Funk, I will look at the changes in the next release.
Any chance to get nodal shading working in 901, or do we have to pray on the altar of TF I added a page to the manual on this. http://render.otoy.com/manuals/Modo/?page_id=1127 .

Inspite my"clever" workaround ,it doesn't work with stuff defined by percentages and floats, only the rgb color. So, for example, I can override the specular color for multiple materials, but can't overide the specular fresnel.
I'm a shader tree noob, so I could be missing sth. But looking forward ...

This will be awesome. I HATE converting from 32 bit to 16. I guess I just don't know enough about linear workflow.
I found out if I bring it into after effects though and edit at 32 bit linear. Then you can export as a 16 bit tiff from AE and bring into PS. Wish photoshop had better tools for ...

Nodal shading not working?
I have a need for multiple materials to behave the same way (regarding specular fresnel, roughness etc.) . I've constructed a simple workspace that does just that... Except it doesn't! :)
