But a fully integrated finished product, not a partly developed beta. The two are a excellent fit.

Sorry, I don't have C4D. I did import the obj file using 2.3 v5 without any problems. See attached image.
Hopefully someone with C4D can solve the plugin issue.

I'm not sure if you've resolved your problem, so if you have ignore this post. I imported your file into Moi3D. The model came in fine. I'm not sure how you exported, but there was some interesting geometry in the 3DM. I cleaned it up, renamed the objects and imported into Octane ...
