Re: UI Window Feature
Okay, what about applying the node graph feature to the render Target settings then. This is not really possible - the idea of displaying the NodeGraph window is so that you can see how the plugin has transferred the Poser scene to Octane. It is not intended for updating settings - sorry.
Thanks ...

Re: Is there a way to convert a obj into a Vectron
Okay, I understand. But I tried to apply noise to the model. For displacement. And it gives me nothing.jobigoud wrote: Tue Jun 17, 2025 1:11 pm I don't think that conversion retains the UVs at this point unfortunately.

Re: Is there a way to convert a obj into a Vectron
Yes the source OBJ makes a difference. Because it will try to figure out what is the interior vs exterior of the model. If it's not an enclosed shape it can break the ray marching. You might see massive see-through artifacts when looking at the surface. Normally when the ray marching goes slightly ...

Re: Is there a way to convert a obj into a Vectron
You can use a "Mesh volume SDF" node to convert an OBJ to a signed distance field. Then you can combine this with vectron primitives or other SDF objects with the union/subtraction/ink, etc. operators.
Hi I think I got it. It seems it might have been the original model I was trying to use.

Re: OctaneRender 2025 for Poser [TEST and STABLE]
What is the version number of the plugin that you are using please?
2025.1.0.127.
I think I solved the problem. I tried other old projects and was having the same issue. But one happened to not have that same issue. So I exported the render target settings and applied it to the newer scene. And ...

No, I even deleted it. Same issueface_off wrote: Wed May 28, 2025 11:02 am This seems to be working for me.

The backplate only shows where there is no geometry. Is it possible you have the ground plane enabled?

Re: OctaneRender 2025 for Poser [TEST and STABLE]
Hey Paul, having an issue. It seems the the back plane is showing just black and the rendering window.
I switch it from planetary or to texture. And the background is still black.

Using Vectron tutorials for standalone
Hi, I'm looking for a resource to show me how to use Vectron features in octane Standalone itself.
All the tutorials I see are utilizing the plugins. But I am looking for a Learning Resource for the Standalone itself.
Especially creating fractals
Thanks

Is there a way to convert a obj into a Vectron
Hi I'm looking for a way to use the Vectron features on a obj model? Or any other 3D model. Or even possibly an animated model that I brought into octane Standalone.
Thanks
Thanks

Purchasing license isseues
I ran into a problem purchasing a license. I believe I had this same problem last year. I can't remember how I resolved it. But this time I went to a completely different route. And I noticed something that should be addressed.
