Looks very nice
My only comment is that the leaves and the water don't look proportional to the rest of the scene the ripples and leaves would be much smaller.
Keep up the good work

Re: Terracotta Pot
Yes I did think about using the daylight environment.
These were all done with an HDRI of an outdoor back yard with walls all the way around so no direct sun light.

Hi Everyone,
This is another model I found in my archives today created in Blender, I don't recall when or why I made it.
I just love Octane it's so easy to make simple things look so real.

Hi Everyone,
This is a model I made Hexagon and rendered the other day in Octane.
Very simple model, but Octane can make simple look amazing.
Comments are more than welcome

Procedural performance
Hi Everyone,
Is it just me or do using procedural textures slow down the rendering?
I was just testing the two ocs files of the chess set one with images and the other with procedural textures.
It would appear that the procedural render is half as fast as using images.
Is anyone else finding this?

Shifted images on bump map
Hi
I am playing with bump maps and have noticed that the bump map doesn't line up with the image.
I have scaled both the diffuse and bump map 15 times but as you can see in the screen shot the bump map is offset from the diffuse channel.
Normal maps seem to be working fine. I can even use the ...

Ignite your renders
Hi Everyone,
Something I modeled yesterday and rendered today.
20min with HDRI studio lighting and pathtracing at 2048x1024
Octane is just awesome.
Comments welcome

Render windows gets stuck
I have been playing with RC3 and have noticed that if I render a picture to the max samples that once finished I can't restart the render or do anything to affect the render windows. I can't select materials or anything.
Is anyone else finding this?

Hi
More playing with learning lighting and texturing. I am not quite happy with the chrome material. I think I turned down the spec to much.
Should I max out the spec and roughness to get good chrome? I was using black in the diffuse channel as well.
The model is from flyingarchitecture.com and ...
