Today I purchased the Carrara plugin. But when I download the LiveDB materials something is wrong. Everytime it reaches download 178 an error occurs and Carrara crashes.

Even when I delete the Materials folder or reinstall the entire plugin the same error occurs when downloading Live DB content ...

Yeah, it's better to wait a while longer to get a real awesome update. Too many software companies release their products way too fast. Octane for Daz is a real quality plugin. And we want to keep it that way.

The lowest value is 0,000001. You can enter this value manually. I think the default value is set at 0,000005. But I'm not sure of that.

Thanks for the quick and great support. I just did the latest update and everything is working fine again. Even the 'crashed' scenes can now be opened in Daz.

Lately I have a lot of crashes when I work with the Octane plugin. Sometimes when I work on a scene and sometimes (like just now) with only 1 figure. This time it happened when I added the hair to the character during rendering. Nothing special. Daz Studio however gave me 'the finger' and an error ...

Latest update of my problem. Everything is working now! I just opened the .exe file for the plugin as 'Administrator'. Just like someone suggested in an earlier post. But after that I had to replace the settingsfile in the Appdata folder.

Well, I hope I can from now on render happily ever after ...

Well, here is another noob with installation problems ;) The installation of the stand alone software went fine. No problems there. But with the plugin it's another story. You have to unpack the folder and choose the directory. So I chose ProgramFiles/Daz Studio.../Plugins. So it creates several ...
