Re: Can we auto refresh geometry?
I was thinking about this idea as well: It's a common scenario for me to go back and forth between fine tuning geometry and rendering it with the purpose of studying the material and lighting on the object. Particularly, if you're doing it a dozen times, it gets *very* tedious to navigate between ...

Hardboilr having fun with SSS
Here's a some renders using Tony's SkinR15 and Sclera r15 for the eyes on octane 1.53.
The first two are quick and fast torso sculpts. The head render is something I've used a little more time on. The plan was to have more hair, but figured I'll create a new project once the new hair features are ...

Blender scale and octane server
Was wondering how scale works in relation to the plugin. By default I work in meters within Blender and so when using the standalone, it's just a matter having the preferences set correctly.
This, on the other hand, is not possible in the plugin.
Can the developer please shine a light on how this ...

Re: export hair
In the same boat as you. So far haven't managed to export it, so decided to wait for an update to the integrated plugin.
Let us know if you figure something out in the meantime.

Re: tonysculptor Skin updated for Octane 1.5
...thank you. I'm just testing and playing around with that skin-shader. But for me there are some (maybe silly so please take my excuses for asking this) questions left:
If I use a imported poser-character with all it's bumpmaps and specular-maps... where do these maps go?
The bump... should I ...

HeyTony. Used your r15 skin material as seen in this wip post: http://render.otoy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=39321
Very impressed by the results so a big thanks for your efforts and for sharing with the community!

Neanderthal
Hey guys. I believe this is my first post on the forum.
Have been working on this neanderthal head and it's still not done.
Need to put some more work into hair (as little hair as possible) - it must be more natural flowing and there must be more hair on the body in general and on the head as ...
