Is there no FloatImage node for the C4D plugin?
Hey there,
I have recently bought the C4D plugin after using the standalone version for many years and I cannot seem to find the float image/greyscale texture node. Whats the deal with that? Is the node not needed and the plugin automatically turns colour images into greyscale or is there some ...

Re: Which feature do you need the most?
Something that is not on this list. A sss version that doesnt have to be 100% perfect but rather be approximate and fast, and if possible, usable with the direct light kernel.

Re: Two Characters.
This looks fantastic. The Razul character is the most impressive looking elf I have seen. Love that he is not just all fairytale cutey pie looking, but instead very gritty. Way to go man!

Re: Human head
Seriously... why say you will share the shader settings when you dont? Please either dont say it in the first place or share it already.

scattering medium scale
Hey there,
I want to know a bit about to what the default scale of 100 inside the scattering medium parameters could be related to. I know it is there to kind of even out the whole scattering effect.
So what basic item (and material), if at the right scale with pretty much default settings, would ...

Re: OctaneRender® for DAZ 3D Studio® beta-testers wanted
- the more advanced user base is very protective of the reality exporter that sends Daz scenes to lux render. I have been in a few discussion on the topic of gpu rendering and seem to get very touchy on any option other than the reality exporter, and usually it has nothing to do with quality or ...
