Hi Davve,

best way to work with texture imho is to load them just as usual in Modo and then drag the texture into the schematic. Now connect the filename to the filnename input of the image node. This way modo will handle the urls if a paths changes.

Remap texture paths

Hi,

I'm trying to figure out how to change textur dir. I swapped my drive letter and now my texture paths are broken.

Any easy fix for this?

"Too many verticies" !!

Hi, I need help with this error message I'm receiving from time to time (seem rather unpredictable). Error being "Too many verticies".

My current system is:
Laptop 16gb ram with GTX 1080 max Q for the veiwport, and an external GTX 3090 24Gb for rendering.

What should my Max vertex settings be?

Hi paul!

Is this the way to render a backdrop image ? I've been having trouble with that previously.

When I tries this method the only result I get is the image on a sphere and not a plane projected from the camera...

Flickering denoise

Hey,

Any tips on how to get a flicker free denoise pass? Currently I'm running at very high samples in the denoise settings but still it flickers in animation. Any thoughts?

Octane version 4.05

Also getting crashes when trying the denoiser though :(
