Re: OctaneRender for Modo (Windows) 2.05.2 [STABLE]
I posted on the Modo dev channel - no response. I requested a license or demo version of Subd Nurbs from TheFoundry - no response. You posted the issue in the Modo forums - no response. There is nothing I can do to progress this issue until I have a copy of Subd Nurbs. Sorry.

Re: OctaneRender for Modo (Windows) 2.05.2 [TEST]
Thanks Thomas - that's looking like a Subd Nurb plugin error rather than an Octane plugin problem. I suggest you report the problem to TF. In the meantime I'll try to get a copy and see what's happening in debug mode.

Thanks Paul.
I posted on the modo forums, and integrity ware, the company that provides subd-nurbs, is looking into it as well.

Re: OctaneRender for Modo (Windows) 2.05.2 [TEST]
Paul, this helped a little. I'm not getting the crash anymore, but the SubD Nurbs plugin still fails to work. It works great if Octane is not enabled.
Resetting the config file did help with the other issue of losing the menu bar, so that is a plus. :)
Should I bring this up on the SubD to Nurbs ...

Re: OctaneRender for Modo (Windows) 2.05.2 [TEST]
Paul,
I just got the power SubD nurbs plugin for modo, and for some reason it crashes modo whenever the octane plugin is enabled.
Also, whenever I disable the Octane plugin, I lose my menu bar at the top of the program (file, edit, ect)
Thanks,
Thomas

Re: OctaneRender™ Standalone 2.02 [current 2.xx]
When using the rounded edges option with CAD data, the result is unusable. below is a link to a scene file to give a good example.

Re: Vs modo render
I thought the same way until I listened to the Modcast(http://community.thefoundry.co.uk/modcast/audio.aspx?id=267)with Allen Hastings. Modo in fact is being able to render biased and unbiased. There is an unbiased render attribute in the channel list of the render item...Unbiased by the way doesn ...
