3ds 2018 Interactive workflow
Hi!
As 3ds interactive is on the market we are looking for a alternative workflow transferring our Revit projects -> 3ds 2018 -> 3ds interactive VR studio.
We are currently switching Revit material to Octane in 3ds and use it as the main render setup.

Re: Project House
You're right Builtdown!
DOF is set way high.
My material used in the scene is nothing I am proud of so the DOF hides all my lost details haha
Nice examples on the link. Really.
I will upgrade my material and I will increase detailing of the scene.
Great forum for feedback! Thank you all!

Re: Project House
Thanks! I will check it out! I am studying more Linear workflow to get the lightning to fall more realistic.
I will repost a new version when I get more detailing in.
Lights are tough but fun to learn about!
Appreciate your input!

Re: Project House
No bloom..
I will render a new one and set octane post OFF.
Fix some material and make a clean crisp image without camera aperture and post process in PS.
Anyway, here is a new render:

Thanks for the feedback!
I will clean up the render with less bloom.
I did only use the octane plugin post process. Will give it a try in PS.
I repost later on.
Happy for any more comment

Re: Swedish house by road
I would like to suggest to try camera on eye level (i.e. 1.65m) and show more sky above the building to get more natural camera feeling and better layout. Show more of the side of the house might improve the image too.
Thanks Rappet!

hi
not bad of course. everything looked too flat due to sun position. let the shadows shape the objects.(may play with hdri or sun+hdri) also too low contrast. have a look at the attachment. the surfaces in the dark and bright are too close eachothers. you can play with the gamma value of your ...

Re: Swedish house by road
Is it that bad? not even a comment on anything?
Well.. maybe a booring project
anyway
Bush need detailing on leafs.
Maybe ground need more displacement for depth.
Road need more deept and dirt.
Windows would need more "filling" ie drapes etc
Anyone have a tip on camera setting?
Will add more blur ...
