For me... I can't get any textures, geometry files, orbx that are stored on my network drives from within octane.
It's wotking fine when I'm on 2026.1 but no chance in 2026.2 (e.g. \\192.168...\item.orbx)

I can't find it in my downloads any longer. Some months ago it worked just fine but when I try to start it now it says: "not licensed"?
But why?

I think you are right. The further development of the plugin is obviously no longer of interest for Otoy.

My computer has an AVX compatible CPU - but I still can't get sculptron to run.
Tried everything, disabled firewall/AV, made all the windoes (10 PRO) updates, updated all drivers, tried all the options like win8-mode and so on...
started in administrator mode...
nothing.

Sorry - but that's really no excuse.
Since so many months there's no single feature added to the plugin. Since so many months (years) the plugin-users ask for support of strand-based hair.
We always had problems like the ones I have described.
Freezing of the plugin, no proper function of the live ...

Close down daz go into C:/users/*username*/OctaneRender/Data/ and delete OctaneRender_livedb2.oczdb go back into daz and in octane window press update under live db and turn off auto update.
And try and see if its updates and download the db again

I've posted some quesions about the plugin 2023.1.1.306 in DAZ Studio 4.22.0.1.

1. It's not possible to download any materials from the Live DB in DAZ studio. The texture-slot is empty and the material is rendered in black.

2. I can't acess my materials-preset anymore. There not a single material ...

I've installed the DAZ plugin version 2022.1.1.306.
Since a few weeks it's not possible to load materials from the live DB when there's a texture-map in the setting of the material file.
I can download a material but the slots for the textures are empty. The material is black when I try to render it ...

I've tried that "workaround" on tow different hairs for G8/G81 I've gought and on the storybook mouse also.
But although I've played around with the tesselation it doesn't look like hair or fur at all.

I've installed several versions of scultron several times but without any success.
I'm using a enterprise license for octane; WC and Embergen are running fine but whenever I try to start Sculptron nothing happens at all.
Do I need a special license to run it?
