Also the Vertex_displacement_mixer doesn't update in the ipr, need to click refresh every time.

Did you have a chance to look into it?
I have to work with a lot displacement atm and it is not usable at all. Crashes every minute.

Also happens with texture displacement only. On super simple scenes, its just a cube with a texture used as displacement.

Nested Dielectrics too bright
Hi!
Somehow when i use Nested Dielectrics the condensation droplets get too bright.
The top image shows with nested ON. the bottom with OFF. The droplets have a higher priority.
I don't think this is the desired behaviour, is it?

Re: OctaneRender 2026.2.0.1 for Houdini Production (2026.2.0.1)
yea, it's not heavy scene, only about 3gb vram are used.
houdini gives this error:
*** OCTANE API ERROR: CUDA error (700) on device 0: an illegal memory access was encountered
*** OCTANE API ERROR: -> failed to launch kernel(kernel37)
*** OCTANE API ERROR: device 0: path tracing kernel failed ...

getting an error telling that i ran out of GPU memory when using curvature node while using texture displacement.
is this a known bug/limitation?

multiple uvs
hi!
i want to use multiple uvs for a dual rest setup, so i have one uv called uv1 and another called uv2, which i want to blend in the shader.
how can i access these different uvs in the shader? it only grabs the standard uv, but i can't get these with different names.
thank you in advance!
