You can accomplish something similar by using a mix material, mixing an specular and a glossy material... I also added a slight film (filmwidth) to the glossy part as well. The specular part is white, with a very low IOR to prevent too much distortion. The glossy part is white as well.

Yes, the first on on the screen is a picture.
the second one the render with the cap and the last one the render without the cap.
As you can see, the cap material destroy the final render comparing to the picture ( the white plastic become grey).

Hi all,
i've just finished my first product render and i get some troubles. Perhaps somebody here can give me advices and critics.
The first shot is the product without cap ( i'm happy with this but don't know how to get rid off some aliasing)

ok, i've done the uv mapping...but after , how i apply the texture?
i have an object node and a specular node to it to have the transparency of the glass bottle.

i just install the demo release (before buying it for sure) to see how to include octane with my workflow on product design, and try to setup some cool render on cosmetic product design, but i don't know how to apply a texture on the glass.
Do i have to setup the uv mapping in a third 3D ...
