Hi Juanjo.
Good release (as ever)

the new polygon side texture node don't work when i apply a bump node in the material
This happen in the mix material mode and in the mix texture mode

This can be a bug in Octane. I will report it to the Octane developers.

Good day,
Working on a flying craft and seem to be having an issue with motion blur.
On the image, the closest motor shows the motor bell, the other two don't.
During the animation, all four seem to pop in and out. I have upped the motion blur steps to 20 for this picture in hopes that it would alleviate the problem. It did not.
When I go real high with my samples, I get a big blurry blob but no clarity.
How might I fix this?
Thanks.
Robert

Can you please send to me the scene to test it here? ... it is hard to say what could be the problem. Try to disable the "Instance LW clones" option in the Render Target if your objects are LW clones to see if this help.

Done.
No instances, just fast spinning.

Yes, I can reproduce this problem here with the 2.16 build. It seems a problem in Octane 2.16, but it is fixed now in my current next Octane API build.

You have two options, revert to the previous daily build (2.15.1), that seems to work fine:

Or wait a bit for the new release of the plugin, but I am going to need few days to have it ready because I am working on it now I am not sure if it is stable enough to be used in production.

Juanjo buddy, does the version you are currently working on include Render Layer Passes?.. In other words, did you get 2.2x build already?
