Specular material vertex normal help

So my exported sphere from modo is all facetted in octane when a glass material is used ... tried everything...vertex baking, vertex grouping, setting vertex normals, smoothing normals, exporting vertex normals turned on, triangulating, freezing, 180° smoothing angle ... nothing!!! :(((

There is a smooth parameter in each Octane shader, that needs to be checked.

aah ok, it was turned off in the preset material...
