Well, here's a quick sun sky image from the upcoming Beta 2.

Im Mental Ray user and I think I finally got render that I love and I see I will love it even more. lets set some passes and go with production ;)

Now Octane Render will need an interior scene built-it (like the Chess or spaceships scenes) :mrgreen:

Oh this Sunday would be nicer after seeing that :D
Just one important question for archivizers as me: Is there an option for offsetting North angle in case your scene does not suit 90° North?

You can use the floatHemi data type which allows you to position the sun by X,Y coordinates and Z for the angle, so that you can position it any way you like.

looks good, looks like you got some gamma issues though, its super dark.
