Octane Render users on DeviantArt.com

Hello,
Im still finding ways of promoting Octane Render around the world
After the Vimeo group (wich is growing slooowly) for submitting videos
Here's the DeviantArt group for all the fellow deviants !

The group has only 1 rule, its very simple, you should always post your image first on the Octane Render forum (under gallery or work-in-progress)
Then you are allowed to submit it to the DeviantArt group. This way, there's no competition between the forums and the DeviantArt group

This is not an "official" group, Its not made for technical support, its only a fan-made group

What's good about groups in DeviantArt is that they can "affiliate" to other groups !
For example if the Octane Render group affiliate with the Luxology Fans group, they will be shown in each other homepages
That's more users for both groups, more comments, more fun etc...
Luxology Fans group are already affiliated with the Zbrush-guild group
And they search for other groups to affiliate with

Icon design mini-competition

Introduction

The group need an icon, it should be good looking and original
Its shown in the group homepage and in the list of groups on Deviant Art

Rules

The size of the icon must be 100 pixels by 50 pixels
The fileformat must be JPEG (100 quality) / PNG (with transparency) / GIF (animated or not)
The file should be smaller or equal to 15 KB
You must use the Octane Render logo (or the "Octane Render" words in text)
You are allowed to use anything to make the icon (even your fingers and some paint)

You have 30 days from now to submit your little icon in this topic (upload it as an attachment in a comment)
The competition end the 25 April (midnight) the deadline will be extanded if there's not enough icons

Price

Honor ?
+ Having your icon visible by everyone on DeviantArt
+ Having your name in the group description (awesome)
+ A link to your website or DeviantArt profile (icon designed by yourname + link)
but more seriously this is a competition for fun, that's why there's no serious prices

Im happy to announce that the Octane Render Users group on DeviantArt just affiliated with the Luxology Fans group

Here's what you can now see on the Luxology Fans group homepage

(our icon is the empty one between the 3Dimension and the Zbrush guild one)

And we see their icon on our group page

After competition ends I can try something with the icon for the group. Oh I need to join it too

There's no need to put a "group" word on it
Since only groups have such big icons on DeviantArt

I like the "Octaners" + the colorfull logo

Remember that the name of the group is close to the icon
You don't even need to put text on your icon

You must use the Octane Render logo (or the "Octane Render" words in text)

So if you need more room for the logo, do one with only the logo
