Octane Imager not affecting viewport rendering (Blender on Mac)

For some reason any changes to the octane imager does not affect the viewport render (eg. increasing exposure to 1000 to make everything white), even though it shows in the final render. I have checked all the right boxes but somehow I can't get it to show in the viewport.... any tips?

I’d check the viewport camera settings/override first. Octane uses separate imager settings for the viewport and final camera render, so make sure the viewport is actually using the same Camera Imager. Also test in Camera View, since imager changes may not appear in a regular perspective viewport.
