Spot Light Rendering Bug in OctaneRender Prime 31.8
Posted: Sun Jun 14, 2026 7:50 am
OctaneRender® version and build number: prime-31.8
Operating system version: Windows 11 64-bit, 25H2, OS build 26200.8655
Blender version: 5.1.2
Video card(s), model(s), and VRAM size(s): GeForce RTX 4090, 24GB VRAM
Amount of RAM: 64GB RAM
NVIDIA® driver version: 610.47
NVIDIA® CUDA® version: 32.0.16.1047
My issue is related to spot light rendering. When I turn on my computer for the first time and open a project file, the spot light works properly with medium effects. After I close this project and open another project file, the medium effect disappears completely, though the spot light can still illuminate objects clearly. Restarting Blender and OctaneRender afterward cannot bring back the medium effect at all.
