Can't log in to OctaneServer on MacOs Tahoe

I'm currently having an issue with OctaneServer and can't seem to figure out what's going wrong.
When I start OctaneServer, the application runs in the background, but no login window appears and the preferences are greyed out, so I have no way to log into my account. Because of this, the Octane Blender add-on also can't connect to the server.
Does anyone have a fix?

Hi,
All OctaneRender versions for macOS Apple Silicon are distributed as free Prime license, so you don't need to login/logout, or enter your credentials.
Just make sure to have installed a version supported by macOS 26 Tahoe, from 2025.1 to 2026.2.

I have the same issue. Mac OS Tahoe.
No render just a grey checkerboard after installing server and add-on from latest release stable page.
I notice that I was never asked to login.
The server runs and shows a menu item at top bar. The Blender app launches the default Octane templates new… and I hit render and get nothing but checkerbox.
Then I check the Octane render settings - I see Octane is connected shows green… but when I go to render i see nothing. When I try to get a render view in realtime it says another screen is rendering but this is the default project new for octane and I have done nothing yet… I look at the logs and I see this too:

Please try to run OctaneBench for macOS:

Or try to run OctaneRender Standalone 2026.3:

If they are running ok, the issue is in your Blender+OctaneRender installation, and my suggestion is to write to help at otoy dot com.
