Missing textures

Hallo Paul
Yesterday, I tried to open a library item however the assigned texture was not showing up.
It is possible that the location of the missing texture was moved so that the original path is no longer valid.
However, when looking at the obtained material in the rhino material editor, the note with the respective texture for example the diffuse slot, was just empty.
There have been no warnings or pop up messages indicating that octane doesn’t find any textures when opening the file.(I think I remember we had these messages in the past.)
Unfortunately, the path itself is also not showing in the octane material anywhere so I cannot easily identify the name of the texture.
I also remember that you modified the code long time ago due to my request to have standard search paths for textures. You gave me an example how to modify the config.xml file accordingly.
Unfortunately, this doesn’t seem to work either.
I have been busy with other things for a long time now so I’m not 100% sure that this problem occurred after the last version or maybe even before.
Can you do me a favour and create a quick scene in rhino:
1. assign a textured octane material to an element, save the scene
2.move the texture to a different folder and , open The scene and see if you get any pop-up message that the texture can’t be found.
3. Maybe you can also check if the syntax for the config.xml works when you point it to the new folder where the texture was moved to.
Thanks
Andy
