Medium Standard Volume issue when exporting to orbx

When I export from Houdini 21.0.440 to Octane X Prime 2025.3 the Material Standard Volume loses the density info. Attached is an image of it exporting a Medium Scatter correctly next to the incorrect Standard Volume.

Thanks!
Dave

Hey there!
Sorry for the delayed response!
Unfortunately the Houdini volume implementation has had a lot of issues.
We did a major overhaul on this on the latest 2026 alpha - but of course this is not available for macos yet.

You should be able to resolve this issue by opening the settings of the volume node in standalone, and reassigning the volume grids. In this current version the orbx export generates some empty volumes that create this error, but the correct volume data should still exist, you just need to assign it again.
I can't tell you which grid exactly it will be, but if you click the little wrench on the volume in standalone, and play with the assignment you should be able to get it working.
Sorry again for the issues. When octane 2026 comes out for macos these issues should be resolved :)
