Particles Render Time in LV < PV - 30x slower!!!

I have a scene with around 2M particles and 640 frames, (instance on the object tag is a cube with 1x1x1 segments). When I render it in the Live Viewer it takes 3 seconds, i can scrub through the timeline very fast, renders under 3 seconds, when I export it to picture viewer, a frame takes 90 seconds. Also, if I start the rendering from frame 100, the preparation takes 2 minutes... No subdivision, nothing, super simple project. 4070 TI gets overloaded at some points and freezes every 2nd time in picture viewer. I have the particles baked and when I try to export into an orbx animation, it renders a "color shader" exr sequence with 9 seconds render time, plus a geometry abc file that will probably be 100 GB, just like the already baked abc file... The exr sequence file sizes are getting larger and larger and rendering slower, however my animation has a quite constant 2M particles in the scene. My question is, why is it 30 times longer to render in pv or render queue? What can cause this? Why it takes so long to export the orbx?

UPDATE: I don't know what has changed, but after posting, I ran the render again for the 10x time, and it got back to a pretty fast 9 seconds rendering time and then this https://photos.app.goo.gl/QXvcfDWZdEvS2zsg8. I always render with all the other apps closed and usually after a restart.

UPDATE2: It turns out that I had to reduce the particle count from 600k to 400k. It was on 3 instances = 2M particles and 12GB VRAM was not enough for PV. So the reason was VRAM as always, but I'm not sure why it's different from LV.

Hi,

which version of plugin are you using exactly?

Have you tried with latest version?
https://render.otoy.com/customerdownloads/plugins/c5/ef/4f/f8/OctaneRender_Studio%2B_2025.2.1_for_Cinema4D_v1.6.1.exe

Could you share a log from Console/OctaneRender?

ciao,
Beppe
