Is it possible to detect Octane Live Viewer Events using C4D Python?
I’m trying to link a Python Tag with Octane Live Viewer events.
In other words, I want to check whether the Live Viewer is currently rendering or has stopped.

1. Start: 1033873
2. Stop: 1033955
3. Stop & Reset: 1033956
4. Live Viewer Close

I asked this question a long time ago but never received an answer.
If the Octane for C4D developer happens to see this, I’d really appreciate a reply.
Thank you.

There are not a Python connection, but a connection library for c++ plugins if you are interested.

We were able to repro a bug where the LV keeps on rendering if you switch to another C4D Layout which does not contain any Octane LV.
Then you need to re-open the LV and restart the rendering and stop it again.
This will be fixed in a new release soon.
Not sure if this thread is related to any of that, just recalled it.
