fstop values changing with scene scale
Posted: Fri Feb 14, 2025 5:13 pm
create a new c4d project and make sure the scene scale is set to cm (press ctrl + d, then unfold the scale setting)
create a camera
set the fstop to 5
Now copy the camera to the clipboard
create a new scene
Set the project scale to mm
paste the camera
The fstop value should not change after copy pasting the object, lens fstop should be independent of how large my project is. Just because I copy my camera rig from a large city scape scene to a small desktop scene doesnt mean I want to change my lens settings.
