Layer reflections AOV

I am not clear on how the Layer reflection AOV works.
If I activate both the Layer shadows AOV and the Layer reflection AOV in a material for example with red diffusion (not metallic) and a certain reflection, I get correct gray shadows, but a red reflection.
The reflection, in a non-metallic material, even if red, should be gray or am I doing something wrong?
Thanks

Hi,
always better to post some screenshots, anyway, everything seems ok, from what you have written.
If you have a red object on a mirror floor, what are you expecting to see reflected in the floor?
A red or gray object?
ciao,
Beppe

Sorry, I'll try to be clearer.
First of all I attach the test scene
The scene is composed of two render layers and three Render AOVs (Reflection, Layer reflection and Layer shadow).
From the scene, by disabling the Render Layer, it is possible to see in the Reflection AOV how the reflections are colorless despite the reflective material (not reflected) being red.
By reactivating the Render layer, the Layer reflection AOV instead contains, in addition to the reflections, also a contamination of the red of the material.

Hi,
thanks for sharing screenshots and the scene, but .ocs format is not good, since it doesn't include geometry and textures used in the scene.
Please go to File/Save as package, then share the resulting .orbx scene, thanks.
Sorry, forgot to ask, which exact version of Standalone are you using?
ciao,
Beppe

The .orbx file.
Thanks

Thanks for sharing the .orbx file.
Ok, it also considers the diffuse indirect contribution for compositing, so it must be judged in compositing.
If composed on Black background color, you can have back the original scene:
While here is on White or Red background:
Here is the scene:
