View Clipping is off in orthographic view

The view clipping in the viewport doesn't seem to be in sync with the Blender interpretation when orthographic projection is used. In perspective projection it's fine. Maybe worth checking.

Seems fine here.

But I've noticed I had to restart the render (or got to Pespective mode and then back to Camera mode) to get a correctly updated result when I create a different render "box" (it's added right now). Is it that what you mean?

It's not about render borders. It's about the view clipping (near/far clipping). This is off when the view is in orthographic view. In perspective mode it seems to be in sync.

It seems to work fine here. Can you please show me an example/scene?
Thanks!

I was finally able to reproduce it in the 3D view.

Great. Nothing is more annoying than an elusive bug.
