Dear team,

I'm running both the regular Octane version and the new add-on version of the plug-in, because I need the vanilla version of blender (the custom build refuses to install several other add-ons)

However ... the Octane add-on version seems to be very laggy compared to the regular version when scrubbing the timeline and especially when exporting an animation to orbx.
The same scene takes 45 min. on the add-on version (blender completely frozen, no status bar) and less than 30 sec. on the regular version (blender responsive, status bar)!
Any ideas?

Versions used: Blender 4.2.1, add-on 29.13, Mac OS ARM

In terms of performance, there are still areas in the add-on version that require further optimization. This is the main reason why we continue to maintain a custom build version.
