Hi,

checklist:

- read the readme.txt file and install the correct drivers mentioned
- try the included test scenes first (chess and spaceships)
- try picking materials of the test scenes and modifying parameters in the node inspector (don't add/connect nodes in nodegraph editor)

Hi

- read the readme.txt file and install the correct drivers mentioned (I 've installed the last version of driver for my graphic card + last version of driver cuda)
- try the included test scenes first (chess and spaceships) This scene crash when i open and change the resolution up 1024
- try picking materials of the test scenes and modifying parameters in the node inspector (don't add/connect nodes in nodegraph editor) Yes I've use this procedure.

Probably octane have the problem with windows 7 64

the crashing during changing of the resolution is a known bug in v0.81a demo.
change the resolution before starting the engine, eg before clicking on the mesh node.

using the 'latest' drivers and 'latest' cuda is not a good idea.
they are not always backwards compatible, and are probably the source of your stability issues.
