Slate editor compound node support

Hello,
I am using 3dsmax's compound nodes in the slate editor mainly for complex shaders using octane composite material. For the most part it works fine but see the attached screenshot, the texture maps from the compound nodes going into the Mix texture do not work, likely the case for other types of operator nodes as well.

The only way for them to work is to leave those maps outside of the compound node. However, it would be great if it was supported so those maps can stay within their respective compound material node tree.

Thanks
Tom

Hi tombyrom,
Thank you for reporting this issue.
I have to admit that I never used those compound nodes ... I'll investigate to try to have a better support for those.
THanks

Thanks mate. Yeah they are relatively new, Max 2024 I think but super useful for composite materials and tidying up the slate editor on large projects
