Hello. I'm using OctaneRender plguin v29.14 and I've a RTX 4090 running Windows 11 23H2. :)

I picked unique region at Photon Tracing kernel@50diff and @60spec depthes and @radius 0.01 and... I got... bit more than 1M spp* (= 1,028,776 spp*). :shock: Woww! :D :lol: Because I don't know how do I increase the number of spp* from 1M for region picked since OR v3 (2016):
bit more than 1M spp of region picked - woww.jpg
NOTE: This black region means lock. Because this FREE extra requires you can buy a big rendered image about PSOR prism@diamond on glossy ground for eliminate any black - check OP - viewtopic.php?f=5&t=81921. ;)

* - it is samples per pixel as S/px.

Good day, guys. :)

New youtube video but defocus - you need to buy any big rendered image for get new free extra rendered image. :):

At "Photon Tracing" kernel but I needed 1M spp because PPM can't able to render any "variable caustics" (learn - here) but yes path tracing can this under "Photon Tracing" kernel for the roughness of 0.06 of glossy ground.

-> Free Blender project Download:
psor-cube with preview2 - OR 2024.1 photon.blend
(3.97 MiB) Downloaded 225 times
NOTE: you may change the dispersion type for prism cube@diamond material from "coefficiente dispersion" to "abbe number" with 1 (this is funny :lol: :D )

Best regards. ;)
