Lightwave 2024.1 has been released since September 12 and Octane Studio 2023.1.3 Multi-GPU has been updated with several bug fixes by Lightwave Digital and it is very stable!

Lightwave Digital has announced that Octane Studio Plus will be available upon release of Lightwave 2024.1.
Now the Octane plugin is supposed to be available very soon here on the Otoy forum or download section!

Lightwave Digital already sent the new Octane Studio+ to Otoy a few days ago but Otoy hasn't published anything yet.

I suspect juanjgon is no longer with Otoy because he hasn't posted anything on the forum in a very long time..

After Lightwave he worked on the version of the plugin for Houdini and even on the Houdini side it's a new person who makes the announcements (bruce.chai)

I sent a private message to Otoy asking them when they will publish the plugin and they replied that they will send my request to the development teams and that I should receive a response after the weekend

Looks like the team isn't as fast as Octane Render lol...

I got an answer from Otoy.
They had received the builds but they need to make tests with it before make it available this week!

Would be nice to know when is the release ?
Subscription time is ticking away and release is still not here .

Please OTOY can you hurry up this and let us know when is this going to be released and where (in user account or forum, or both ?) ?

As I said, Otoy is currently reviewing the new version made by Lightwave Digital since Monday of this week.
This is for quality assurance testing and I think it's a normal process. They want to be assured of providing a quality product, so maybe they discover new bugs and they will also update the documentations even if we have new documents on the LWD site.
I prefer to wait and be sure to have a perfectly functional octane plugin, especially for multi-GPU and networking!

They told me they would make it available maybe by the end of this week.
They must first contact their manager to prepare a note with the installation steps!

So to help them out and speed things up a bit, I sent them the link to LW's site that explains the installation steps and they appreciated receiving that information. It may be because they need to recontact Juanjgon who seems elsewhere because his last publication on the forum was at least a year ago, even in Houdini's forum.
