Hi, I just update to 560.81 and now octane render freeze max when I render in viewport with path tracing.
Anybody else ?
I use tydiffusion yesterday too... Incompatibility ?

edit : I made a "clean installation" of 552.22. It seems to work.

If anybody can tell if there is a problem with the last driver. Thanks

I found this on FB:

Octane is very stable now. If you experience so many crashes it's either an issue in your workflow (like heavy use of c4d native materials or shaders) or driver related
For example we don't recommend drivers newer than 552.xx right now due to a bug in the Nvidia driver not working correctly without hardware scheduling turned on in windows."

indeed, there are issues with newer drivers.

On multiple posts (on forums and on Facebook) related to stability the same answer usually solves most of issues 'use 552.22'. Once some new usable driver comes out, we will surely share to update as we understand that some users might need more recent driver for other software. In any case for now the pointed version seems to work the best with OctaneRender.

Still on 546.xx her in combination with latest Alpha for 3dsmax. Is there a benefit upgrading to 522.22?

as long as it work and it is stable I would not touch it. The main reason being is that You will not see any gain, but some applications, like new version of OctaneRender or other apps might specifically state that You do need a version no older than.. - until You have this, I would recommend to keep as it is.
