Nice, but there is something wrong about lighting that make the render not realistic?

It seems more like a WIP. :|
give it alittle bit of story.
Have a diffuse ground with a texture, better for caustics.
Add a HDRi for reflections [a studio, shop or a rich house] and far background light sources. Then put in a few mesh based light soruces around the objects with an IES or not your choice.
Render it out in PMC at 2k, downscaled to 1k.

Maybe then we can see some awesomeness

If it is a test then it should be in the WIP section it will save alot of embarressment, trust me i know

You can download the demo suite from the downloads page and try one of the HDR images and maybe play with the tonemapper.

Could I have the scene too?

I have had Octane for a couple weeks, and haven't been able to get a mirror image like you did on the surface the gems sit. I rendered a car a couple days ago, but could only do it from certain angles because I couldn't get the mirrors right on the car from the poser export. I would love to see your settings on the surface the gems sit on and see if I can apply them to the mirrors on the car I exported.

If I am not mistaken you are going for a Diamond, Sapphire, and Emerald?

I actually sell gems and mineral specimens for a living. I got into rendering to make a comic book as a hobbyist. If you are going for a top notch emerald, It should be a hair darker, the color is halfway between a peridot and emerald. Also the diamond should have a slight prism effect. If you are going for photo realism, that's what I see. It still looks good as is, just not perfect for photo realism.

here You go ;)

I dont remember exactly which OBJ or OCS is it... ...so I put 2 of them for You.

Hope it helps geting You what You want.

Remember that after render... I made slight color correction.

If You want mirrors, just get glossy material with specular 100% and roughness 0% ;)
